| description | The 2030 Agenda and the 17 sustainable development Goals (OSS) are a universal commitment and the new indispensable framework for building a future of real sustainability for all, without leaving anyone behind. Their territorialisation therefore requires a strong involvement of all the components of society, businesses and the public sector, civil society and philanthropic institutions, universities and research centers, information and culture operators.
In this framework, the United Nations incorporates the conservation and promotion of the global cultural heritage within the Goal 11 with the 11.4 Target, aiming to raise awareness among member states on the definition of policies that guarantee both the protection and the responsible use of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of small and large communities.
In this perspective, the opportunities that heritage can provide in terms of creating new meeting spaces, community hubs, places of social integration and inclusion, which are the basis of the connected identity processes, are of particular interest. to local development.
The issue of the inseparable relationship between culture and development is, therefore, more than ever relevant with the continuous triggering of new dynamics, in which the social dimension of cultural heritage takes on a fundamental role as driver in all sustainability-oriented transformation processes.
Il patrimonio culturale per la costruzione di capitale sociale nel processo di territorializzazione di Agenda 2030
L’Agenda 2030 e i 17 Obiettivi di Sviluppo Sostenibile (SDGs) costituiscono un impegno a carattere universale e il nuovo quadro di riferimento imprescindibile per costruire un futuro di effettiva sostenibilità prosperità per tutti, senza lasciare indietro nessuno. La loro territorializzazione richiede pertanto un forte coinvolgimento di tutte le componenti della società, imprese e settore pubblico, società civile e istituzioni filantropiche, università e centri di ricerca, operatori dell’informazione e della cultura.
In questo quadro di riferimento, le Nazioni Unite inseriscono la conservazione e la promozione del patrimonio culturale globale all’interno del Goal 11 con il Target 11.4, puntando a sensibilizzare gli stati membri sulla definizione di politiche che garantiscano sia la protezione che la fruizione responsabile del patrimonio culturale materiale e immateriale di piccole e grandi comunità. In questa prospettiva, sono di particolare interesse le opportunità che il patrimonio può fornire in termini di creazione di nuovi spazi d’incontro, di community hub, di luoghi di integrazione sociale e d’inclusione, i quali risultano essere alla base dei processi identitari collegati allo sviluppo locale.
La questione del rapporto inscindibile tra cultura e sviluppo è, quindi, più che mai attuale con il continuo innesco di nuove dinamiche, in cui la dimensione sociale del patrimonio culturale assume un fondamentale ruolo di driver in tutti i processi di trasformazione orientati alla sostenibilità. |
