The Microstructure of AZ61 with Sm
The microstructure of AZ61 alloy with Sm were investigated by XRD, OM, SEM and TEM. The results showed that the alloy mainly consists of α-Mg matrix, Mg17Al12 phase and Al2Sm phase. The Al2Sm phase can acting as nucleation site of a-Mg matrix and refine the microstructure of alloy.
