Description
Summary:Communicative competence acts as a universal competence that is an important factor in the professionalism and competitiveness of university graduates in the labor market. This applies to all areas of professional activity, but it acquires particular importance in the service sector due to the direct interaction of specialists with clients. A study was carried out in three Russian universities with a total of 212 students. The results of the study on the individual components of emotional intelligence showed that the greatest difficulties for all students are caused by the management of their own emotions. According to the results of the study, conclusions were drawn about the need for psychological testing of applicants to determine the preferred types of professional activity and to strengthen the emphasis of educational and educative work on the formation of skills to manage their own emotions.
