It addresses the problematic of transcribing (a methodological and epistemological challenge) the interviews conducted during this doctoral fieldwork by mobilising the concept of vocal stylisation. This concept, through the potential it offered in terms of understanding and analysing the orality of the interviews, supported some of the results relating to the representations attached to accents, indicating both a relationship to a monophonic French norm and an asymmetric relationship between the languages of the learners’ multilingual repertoires. |
