For this reason, the contemporary world taking into consideration mainly scientific cognition often trea-ts philosophy as a mistake, miscomprehension, but not as an attempt to cognize the tr-uth. The author of the article tries to show that the diversity of philosophical teachings is not a drawback, but the essence of philosophy, whose unfeigned role and significan-ce can be comprehended only with regard to Christian Theology as the diversity of wa-ys heading man towards God
