description This article aims to discuss, in general terms, limits and possibilities of adopting Pedagogy Historical-Critical as theoretical and methodological framework in a pilot course of science teachers training to work in the education field. The results show that the end of this pilot group we have seen, within certain limits, the incorporation of our benchmarks, especially the PHC, in school actions of these teachers-students. As a contribution to the area, we understand that this article points out the potential and the difficulties of using a revolutionary pedagogy in a course of teacher training.
