description |
The present article addresses a current problem in the field of project management, respectively the way in which a project’s life cycle can be easier to manage and understand in order to allow for an efficient management process. As the life cycle of a project happens during the time frame in which the project is undertook it is important to start from a strategic development-oriented document, from which the project idea is derived in a certain field (e.g. human resources, infrastructure, environment, tourism etc.). Following this process, the project idea is formulated, implemented and, finally, monitored and evaluated with the purpose of creating the necessary conditions for future development measures. This article presents a series of aspects that were concluded from the analysis of already implemented EU-financed projects. The analysis focused on the importance of the correlation existing between the project and the organizational strategy and, also, the way in which monitoring and evaluation activities concur in improving the implementation process.
|
