Description
Summary:Unflattering position of culture in the Bosnian society is a significant problem that can be solved bysystematic, planned and strategic approach. Taking into account the position of culture and art in theBosnian society, there is an obvious lack of interest of the crucial actors (authorities, artists and thescientific community) for serious consideration of this issue. Specific legal and political organizationof the country as well as the system of shared responsibilities further complicate the creation of anadequate framework for the adoption and implementation of cultural policy. In this context, the authorsemphasize the importance of cultural policy and its contribution to the development of the Bosniansociety, especially in the context of EU integration.
