description Background: Vascular anomalies are common congenital disorders resulting from improper vasculature development. This vasculature defect is localized and affects a small number of blood vessels. Case report: A four – years old boy presented to our clinic complaining of painless bluish swelling in the left heel extending to the planter aspect of the foot. The condition started at birth and progressed with age. Duplex ultrasound and MRI studies were done and confirmed that it was a left foot venous malformation. Direct puncture repair by foam sclerotherapy was indicated. Conclusion: Foam sclerotherapy is an effective line for the treatment of venous malformation.
