| Summary: | We relate our reconnaissance on folk acts of verbal aggression to the dialectal material from Kujawy. Examples, mainly lexical devices, idioms with characteristic marked elements, formulas of the wishful mood, are taken from the first volume of the Dictionary of the Kujawy Dialect and Culture and its files. Components of curses and insults in the Kuyavian dialectal material include such components as the devil, dog, crayfish, pig. Among the acts of verbal aggression, there are numerous curses / spells, especially those that bring disease. In terms of the number of curses, the ones with the components morówka, bodaj / bodej / a bodej, idź do ślaka. |
