Summary: | The metaplasm « Monstreuses » used in the title of this contribution would like to condense several genealogies : that of the monsters who wave at us, those of the women who create and show them, but also and above all that which associates the latter with the feminist thought of Donna Haraway and her practice of tropes as epistemological tools. This monstrous world is promising in that it is made of articulations that exhibit the interdependence where we are, animals, humans, machines ; it substitutes for the « I » of « who am I ? » the question of a « we » necessarily more open and contingent. Answer the question « who are we ? » requires agreements, moves, translations and connections, but we are freeing from paranoia, segregation, borders and invaders, security policies and redeeming apocalypses.
