In the first chapter of the monograph, the author addressed the period of R. Reagan’s presidency, when American policy towards the USSR consolidated liberal-democratic values and pragmatic interests. The second chapter examines in detail the vicissitudes of recognition of the independence of Ukraine by the United States. The third chapter of the monograph examines the role of the USA in the process of nuclear disarmament of Ukraine. The fourth chapter of the monograph is devoted to the US position regarding the Orange Revolution in Ukraine. In the fifth chapter, the author analyzed the reasons for the US’s refusal to provide assistance to Ukraine with lethal weapons. |
