Description
Summary:It has been recently published a volume entitled "The Art historians and the plague" where a series of interviews is followed by the statement: "while the cultural heritage 'is moribund', the work of art-culturalism (i.e. overemphasis of cultural themes in a work of art) reigns supreme". With regard to this, some considerations are stated and some statements, listed on the volume, are discussed: the motivations are due to the experience gained in the field, and to the aim of giving real answers for the cultural heritage conservation and improvement.
