Description
Summary:This paper contains a sample of the speech corpus from Miraflores (Boyacá). The segment presented is taken from a 50-minute interview. It was collected in 2019 and belongs to a second-generation average educated male speaker. The sociolinguistic analysis is based on a descriptive approach and examines the uses of Spanish in the speaking community of Miraflores (Boyacá) at socio-phonic, socio-syntactic, socio-lexical and socio-discursive levels. Rich and creative discursive constructions in real speech were observed in the sample analysed, as the variables attest the unity of Spanish, thanks to metaphorical expressions and cognitive processes that promote the linguistic, social and contextual interaction of the Spanish speaking community from Miraflores (Boyacá).
