| description | The idea of causation occupies a fundamental position in the general philosophical structure, as it is the common basis in philosophical investigations, it is a basis in metaphysics, and it is a basis in research methods and methods of science, and Muslim philosophers have dealt with investigations of causation in an investigative, scientific and philosophical manner. Sabiyya, as a philosophical category and as a scientific principle, is a concept that is not specific to a time without another or to a generation without another. It is an incessantly rising concept in the core of related history that it is linked to thought, whether philosophically thought or scientifically. <br />Our age is the age of science and the age of growing sense of the need to develop research methods in a way that keeps pace with the development of science. Philosophy is the most urgent need for a critical review of the investigations of causality in Islamic philosophy. <br />In our view, this research constitutes a necessary step for a critical review of the study of the issue and I mean - Al-Ghazali's concept of causation - in spite of multiple attempts that sometimes may not be more than merely indications to Al-Ghazali's stance towards it. Likewise, the subject’s lack of a serious and detailed study of Arabic writings. I found it necessary for us to research this topic due to its importance. <br />As for the importance of research, it is focused on highlighting the scientific, philosophical and verbal aspect of the concept of causation, and the position of Imam Al-Ghazali towards it. We will try our best to show the arguments that he established in refuting the idea of causation. <br />This theory has emerged in cosmic theories, namely creationism, emanation, and among materialists who say the world is old. The philosophers of Islam have attached great importance to them because it is one of the prerequisites of creation theory and emanation theory, which are the two prevailing theories in the heritage of Islamic philosophy. <br />This research is a modest contribution to enriching the national culture and then reviving and strengthening the Islamic scientific heritage by discussing the thought that provided the human heritage with inexhaustible supplies and food. |
