The literature regarding neuropathogenic potential of human CoVs is sparse. Thus, the number of COVID-19–related neurologic complications is likely to be underestimated. Awareness regarding the possible spectrum of neurologic complications is essential for therapeutic decision-making and individualized treatment and thereby limiting the COVID-19–related morbidity and mortality. The aim of this review is to address the neurologic manifestations of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). |
