Description
Summary:Tropical forests in Indonesia are very wide. In these forests grow various kinds of fauna and flora. One of the flora that has a unique characteristic is the Rafflesia flower. This flower is an annual plant because of its slow reproduction. IUCN data states that the plant is considered a near-extinct plant because the original habitat is starting to be damaged due to animal and human activities as well as unstable monitoring in the nature reserve. This study uses a literature review of studies that have been carried out and studies of environmental factors and prevention so that these flowers do not experience extinction by ex-situ and in-situ methods. Good forest conservation will keep the flower habitat so Rafflesia sp will be maintained and its available number in Indonesia remains in safe quantities from extinction.
