| Summary: | The emotional labor demanded in the educational field has not received much attention, especially in the Algerian educational administration. The focus was put on the cognitive processes necessary to achieve the educational goals, but increasing attention in recent years on the subject of emotions, in general, in the field of education, and the emotional labor, in particular, makes of interest inevitable. This article aims at first to shed light on this concept in general, and then focus on this concept in the field of education and educational administration in particular.
