| Summary: | The organized crime manifests in different forms and varies according to the characteristics present in each of the Latin American societies that allowed its emergence. In the Mexican case, the collusion between the drug trafficking and the political power emerges after the Mexican Revolution at the beginning of the 21st Century. Therefore, this article propounds that the problem of the organized crime in Latin American has a structural character and, thus, is irremediable in the short term; moreover, if the use of military force is one of the most important instrument to fight it. |
