| Summary: | This article addresses the role and place of business in the political process in a globalized world and in Ukraine. The author examines the big transnational business as a key actor in the modern political field as in international relations and in activity of nation states. Lack of self-regulation in this global system compels us to consider some of the factors threatening individual states and multinational business that do not contribute to the stabilization of the global social system. Recently, special importance is the global civil society, form the core of which is the freedom of market relations, the actual implementation of human rights, the existence of the prerequisites of public reason and compromise ideological pluralism. The author stresses that globalization has changed the whole balance of power between business, government and society so heavily toward business, you need to define the scope of a world order in which international business is not «privatized» to nation states. In this regard, the Ukrainian business raises many questions about its origin, function, mechanisms ties with the state and civil society. From the beginning of transformations since independence in Ukraine has developed a kind of very controversial and largely unstable political and economical hybrid. This is a growing interest among politicians and scientists to Ukrainian model transformations, questions the viability of established models of capitalism in the country and the prospects of changes in state-business relations in the face of globalization. |
