Description
Summary:
Mathematics since ancient times has remained contributing to the progress of human culture while treasuring and transferring all the accumulated mathematical knowledge. Its importance lies in the great utility it has for practical life and the formation of cognitive skills. However, adequately transmitting the cultural wealth of this science is a complex work, which requires the constant commitment of the mathematical community. One of the ways that is currently used, to carry out this task, is its teaching through problem solving. Precisely, in the present work, the importance of this path is highlighted and some guidelines are proposed to implement it.
