Description
Summary:This work focused on enhancing heat convection coefficient using vortex generators available in various configurations in the bank of oval tubes with single and two-phase flow. Rate of heat transfer by convection and the reduction in pressure in rectangular Duct performed with winglets (Delta and Rectangular). Experimental work studied that under turbulent flow conditions. The experimental results have been compared to show the impact of Vortex generators and various water and air discharges on the heat transfer coefficient. The present work results show Delta winglets are given the best performance in the single-phase flow and the two-phase flow across the bank of the oval tubes. Various parameters have been investigated experimentally to determine their effect on the temperature distribution and heat transfer coefficient.
