Description
Summary:Serbia belongs to the group of countries with longest tradition of judicial review of administration. First elements of judicial review of administration are present in Serbia since Constitution of the year 1835, but judicial review in proper sense started with the Constitution of 1869. But, after Second World War, in common state of Yugoslavia, Serbian system has been abandoned and the new system of judicial review of administration has been created. The contemporary Serbian Law on Judicial review of administration of 2009 continues the tradition of the former Yugoslav Law, with some changes and improvements. But, the new Serbian Law brings some new terminology and substantial changes which are sometimes problematic, confusing and unnecessary.
