Summary: | In the paper, we consider some fixed point results of <inline-formula><math display="inline"><semantics><mi mathvariant="script">F</mi></semantics></math></inline-formula>-contractions for triangular <inline-formula><math display="inline"><semantics><mi>α</mi></semantics></math></inline-formula>-admissible and triangular weak <inline-formula><math display="inline"><semantics><mi>α</mi></semantics></math></inline-formula>-admissible mappings in metric-like spaces. The results on <inline-formula><math display="inline"><semantics><mi mathvariant="script">F</mi></semantics></math></inline-formula>-contraction type mappings in the context of metric-like spaces are generalized, improved, unified, and enriched. We prove the main result but using only the property (<inline-formula><math display="inline"><semantics><mrow><mi mathvariant="script">F</mi><mn>1</mn></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula>) of the strictly increasing mapping <inline-formula><math display="inline"><semantics><mrow><mi mathvariant="script">F</mi><mo>:</mo><mfenced close=")" open="("><mn>0</mn><mo>,</mo><mo>+</mo><mo>∞</mo></mfenced><mo>→</mo><mfenced close=")" open="("><mo>−</mo><mo>∞</mo><mo>,</mo><mo>+</mo><mo>∞</mo></mfenced></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula>. Our approach gives a proper generalization of several results given in current literature.
