Description
Summary:Since the 2007 integration of Romania in the European Union, three elections took place, in order to select the representatives of this country in the European Parliament. The current article has two main objectives: to test the main theories regarding the EP elections, mainly the second order elections one (a) and to look for some explanations for the particular outcome of the Romanian EP electoral results (b). Despite some particularities, one may notice that the European elections in Romania do not produce results that are spectacularly different from those in the EU.
