Summary:This study aims to describe and explain the power of patriarchy, as well as the resistance of women in the collection of short stories Perempuan Patah Hati yang Kembali Menemukan Cinta Melalui Mimpi by Eka Kurniawan. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with feminist literary criticism as the approach used to obtain the desired data. The data source is a collection of short stories Perempuan Patah Hati yang Kembali Menemukan Cinta Melalui Mimpi by Eka Kurniawan. The data are in the form of a number of quotations that reflect the problems in the research. The results of the study indicate that there are nine short stories in the collection that displays patriarchal power and women's resistance. The patriarchal power displayed is in the form of patriarchal power in the domestic and public spheres which are manifested in the form of gender injustice in the form of subordination, marginalization, stereotypes, and violence against women. As for the resistance to patriarchal power, there are only four short stories in the collection. The resistance to patriarchal power is displayed by the female characters in those short stories.
