Summary:Schwartz-Bartter Syndrome (synonyms: syndrome of inappropriate secretion of antidiuretic hormone syndrome of inappropriate secretion of vasopressin, anti-diabetes insipidus) - this is a rare disease characterized by excessive secretion of antidiuretic hormone (ADH) from the posterior pituitary, or other source, resulting in developing hyponatremia and water intoxication. Hyponatremia dilutions at Schwartz-Bartter Syndrome is usually non-specific symptoms, such as headache, nausea, vomiting and confusion. Marked reduction in blood sodium levels may lead to seizures or even coma.
