description А promising method of intensifying dyeing process is the use of physical effects, including the ultrasonic treatment of a dye solution, which enables to increase the efficiency of fiber dye absorption. Experimental studies of the preparation of a dyeing solution of active and acidic dyes by impact of ultrasonic waves with a frequency of 35 kHz have been carried out, during which optimal settings of the ultrasonic bath have been determined. The results of the conducted experiments prove the efficiency of ultrasonic treatment of the dyeing solution and allow to lower the dyeing temperature of wool fiber up to 80–85 ºC.
