| Summary: | The aim of the study is to assess the importance and socio-economic and environmental aspects of the impact of agriculture in the North Central region for the development of the region. The analysis uses statistical data for the period of our country's membership in the EU. To assess the importance of agriculture in the region and the trends in its development, data from expert
assessment by specialists from the regional offices of the State Fund "Agriculture" and the National Agricultural Advisory System are presented. On this basis, are disclosed the peculiarities of the established model of agriculture in the North Central region in terms of changes in the size
of farms, production specialization, organizational parameters, diversification of activities, application of agri-environmental practices and others.
