Description
Summary:Primary hyperhidrosis is idiopathic and results in excessive sweating beyond the body's requirement to maintain thermoregulation. Here, we describe a unique case presentation of a patient with gustatory-induced hyperhidrosis of the bilateral occiput, crown, forehead, and midface. The patient was evaluated for Frey Syndrome due to the gustatory sweating symptoms, utilizing the Minor Starch Iodine Test. The patient did not fulfill the diagnostic criteria for Frey Syndrome but was treated similarly with a positive response.
