| Summary: | The development of information resources at all levels of their operation, create volumes of information, which human civilization had never faced before, global computerization and Internet technology caused not only new level of society, but also generated many growth problems, and realities of new information society require its solution. These realities are based on the need of fundamental principles of society: raising productivity in the information sector, improving the efficiency of information resources. Library activity thus does not lose its prospects while Internet spreads, it contributes to the organization of information and has become an effective supportter of socially active society members in the development of information processes.
