The new Enhanced Green View Index (EGVI) that we propose computes the amount of greenery along the streets along with the health of the greenery.• The new indicator computes street-level greenery;• Considers the health of vegetation while calculating greenery; and• Helps to study the impact of street-level greenery on community residents precisely.
