description | Toxoplasmosis is an important health problem. Congenital toxoplasmosis occurs when the fetus in utero gets
infected with Toxoplasma. The permanent signs of congenital toxoplasmosis include damage of the liver, enlarged
lymph nodes and spleen, meningoencephalitis (with subsequent development of calcifications, seizures, hydrocephalus,

planning a family should be screened for signs of the infection. |
