description Environmental conditions have an essential importance in terms of occupational health and productivity in each sector. It is very difficult to keep environmental conditions within the specified ideal limits due to the processes carried out in the ceramic industry. In this study, it is aimed to investigate the levels of critical environmental conditions in ceramics industry such as heat, humidity, noise, dust and illumination. An observation form is designed to record the data. A total of 84 measurements aretaken from twelve workshops in a big sized ceramic factory. The analyze results of the data state that the levels are 23.20-32.30°C (avg. 27.34°C) for temperature, 25.70% to 65.50% (avg. 43.72%) for humidity, 58.90-89.10 dB (A) (avg. 76.70 dB (A)) for noise, 133-1763 lux (avg. 565.60 lux) for illumination and 47-1636 (avg. 391.04) for dust.
