Summary: | Castleman’s disease is a rare lymphoproliferative disorder, comprising hyaline vascular elements, and plasma cells, which can be present in unicentric or multicentric forms. This disease rarely involves the orbit/eye globe.
We report the case of a 55-year old patient who was found to have a focal lesion in the orbit. Histopathological studies revealed features consistent with Castleman’s disease. The patient was treated with surgical resection and radiotherapy and was free of disease recurrence at 16-months follow up. |
