description In the tragedy of Hamlet by William Shakespeare , there are eleven  soliloquies uttered by the protagonist of the play ''Hamlet'' , king Claudius and Ophelia . In this paper , the emphasis will be on the soliloquies uttered by the central character of the play  ''Hamlet'' He said seven soliloquies , these soliloquies show the feelings , the tendencies and psychological aspects of Hamlet . The  reader will be familiar with the reasons which prevent Hamlet to take revenge , although the play is about revenge . There are several opportunities to kill Claudius but Hamlet does  not make use of them . He is hesitant to take revenge although he is sure that his uncle is the murderer of his father.
