description Background. This article presents an analysis of the physical qualities of asphalt concrete pavement samples and their own resonant characteristics affecting the reliability and durability of the roadway. The relevance and practical significance of the issue considered in the article is determined by the fact that the analysis of the spectral resonance of asphalt concrete can answer the question of the cause of the cause of the destruction of the road and help to make a decision on the repair or replacement of the roadway. Materials and/or methods. Methods of experiment, system analysis, comparison were used. Asphalt concrete samples of road surfaces with various fillers, which are widely used for paving, were taken as the material. A resonant frequency receiver and a camera were used as the research equipment. Results. The paper presents an analysis of the physical properties of various asphalt concrete pavement compositions and their own resonant characteristics can be used for express diagnostics of the condition of the roadway in order to make a decision on its repair or replacement. Conclusion. The article defines the main elements of the asphalt mixture and evaluates the quality of the asphalt mixture at the manufacturing stage and determines the main physical indicators.
