The regulation of contemporary migration processes in Republic of Moldova is one of the most actual themes. After achieving the independence, in 1991, the development of the new state started to be influenced by the complexity of its population's migration processes. This article is focused on the examination of some important stages of the labor migration regulation processes in the Republic of Moldova. The author revealed four significant stages of migration regulation. The periodization is completed with specific documents and facts, which were developed and adopted in every stage of migration regulation process by the Moldavian authorities. Also, the paper describes in details the evolution of the special migration organs of the Republic of Moldova.
