The contronyms in Ancient Egyptian language
The topic of this paper deals with a study of one of the phenomena of verbal participation in the ancient Egyptian language. It focuses on the contronyms or auto-antoym, enantiosemy, and its meaning in the language. The study will deal with the word that bears a meaning and its opposite; then, identify the contextual meaning for these words from the different texts. Furthermore, identifying the word, its contronyms and its different written forms. Finally, the researcher will support the examined topic with evidence and inferences from the texts. |
