| Summary: | The article describes the activities of youth associations of Russian compatriots in Kyrgyzstan. Based on the use of a large amount of factual material and documentary sources, the main forms of their work to preserve the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War are identified and analyzed: • participation in the march "Immortal Regiment" - the main patriotic event of the year for the majority of Kyrgyz citizens, including Russian compatriots; • organization and holding of commemorative actions: "Days of united actions", "Letter of Victory", "St. George Ribbon", "Candle of Memory", "Streets of Heroes", international competition "Ambassadors of Victory", volunteer support for mass events, assistance to veterans, etc.; • historical quests - a modern format for studying history, proposed by the AllRussian public movement "Victory Volunteers" in 2016. The result of quests is the creation of school and student groups of "Victory Volunteers" in the republic, the development of action plans to assist veterans and perpetuate the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War in Kyrgyzstan; • search activity: search for burial places of dead soldiers-front-line soldiers from the Kyrgyz Republic and installation of monuments and memorial plates in these places, search for the names of soldiers of the Red Army buried in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic; • memorial work: the action "Let's Preserve Victory Monuments - Kyrgyzstan!", Including checking the burial places of soldiers who died from wounds in hospitals in Kyrgyzstan, examining the condition of monuments dedicated to Kyrgyz citizens participating in the Great Patriotic War, as well as regular care for memorials. A brief review of the activities of organizations of young Russian compatriots in the Kyrgyz Republic, from the author's point of view, proves that their main mission is to preserve the historical memory and historical truth of the Great Patriotic War.
