Summary:The anterior communicating artery was reported as the most common location for intracranial aneurysm by most clinical trials in literature. The use of intracranial stent detachment at the anterior communicating artery complex for treatment of wide-neck aneurysms with this location is increasingly reported. In this article we present the various management strategies for stent assisted coiling treatment of the anterior communicating artery aneurysms, their limits and complication.
