Summary:Job performance is the result of work that has been accomplished by an employee in performing the tasks assigned. There are many factors that affect job performance, one that personality characteristics. Previous study found that ability and motivation are not always enough in the absence of optimistic expectations. The purpose of this study was to invegate the correlation of hardiness and job performance on Bank employee. This research uses quantitative data with hardiness and job performance scale that distributed to 280 Bank employee as a subject. The result showed that there is a significant correlation of hardiness and job performane on Bank employee with corelation value is 0,447 which means there is a relationship with the positive direction and have the attachment between variables. Based on a simple regression analysis F = 69,331 and sig = 0,000 (sig < 0,01). Effective contribution to the job performance of labor hardiness of 20% and there are still 80% job performance is influenced by other variables.
