Summary:Newspaper job advertisements are regarded as a communicative interaction between the employer and the potential employee, which help to identify the means the employer uses in the advertisement to express their preferences of the gender of the candidates applying for the position. Gender aspects of job advertisements are expressed by lexical, morphological and word formation means. Every linguistic means is represented in several ways expressing gender characteristics of job advertisements.
