Description
Summary:This article explores the conditions that underlie the differential marking of objects in Spanish. It is argued here that the A-marker of the direct object is the realization of features in D (class and animate) and features in the verb (affectedness). These features must be part of the label Phi that dominates the VP. The interaction between the participating features of the Spanish DOM will be described by using feature geometry.
