Upon investigation by the journal, it was discovered that the following references could not be found or verified: Bowornwathana, B., & Poocharoen, O. (2010). Bureaucratic polity: A theoretical framework for the analysis of power and communications in Thai bureaucracy. Asian Journal of Political Science, 18(2), 123–12.Naruemon, T., & McCargo, D. (2011). The politics of national-local relations: Thailand’s Provincial administration organizations in comparative perspective. Journal of Southeast Asian Studies, 42(3), 573–596.Prudhisan, J. (1996). The history of Thai administrative reforms. Public Administration Review, 11(21), 9–14.Sajor, E. (2007). Devolution and corruption in Thailand: Changing the spaces of corruption control. Space and Polity, 11(1), 49–67.Sopchokchai, O. (2006). Local autonomy and local development in Thailand. TDRI Quarterly Review, 21(3), 3–10.In addition to this, there appeared to be two inaccurate references: Thanasthit, U. (2020). Language in Thai constitutions: The comparative study of 1997 and 2017 Thai constitutions. Journal of Politics & Governance, 10(2), 87–103.Thompson, M. R. (2010). Reformism vs. revolution: Structural and political roots of the left-right divide in the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia. Third World Quarterly, 31(7), 1083–1100.When approached for an explanation, the author admitted that there were a number of errors in the references.
