| description | In this article, we supplement the methods of reconstruction of historical industrial facilities with some special considerations to be taken into account when deciding on the location of religious objects. We have developed a set of criteria for assessing industrial architecture complexes that are preferable in terms of accommodating spiritual and educational centers. Methods are proposed for determining correspondence between the structural parts of the industrial enterprise to be reconstructed and elements of the religious object accommodated. It is noted that historical mill complexes have planning and spatial characteristics that are close to the needs of a modern Orthodox spiritual and educational center. The project of the spiritual and educational center to be located in Staroutkinsky Metallurgical Mill under reconstruction includes an educational architectural component. Its imagery has references to the historical design graphics of the 18th century Ural mills. We have found confirmation that historical mill workshops are close to Christian |
