| Summary: | In this paper we define the degenerate Carlitz-type <inline-formula> <math display="inline"> <semantics> <mrow> <mo>(</mo> <mi>p</mi> <mo>,</mo> <mi>q</mi> <mo>)</mo> </mrow> </semantics> </math> </inline-formula>-Euler polynomials by generalizing the degenerate Euler numbers and polynomials, degenerate Carlitz-type <i>q</i>-Euler numbers and polynomials. We also give some theorems and exact formulas, which have a connection to degenerate Carlitz-type <inline-formula> <math display="inline"> <semantics> <mrow> <mo>(</mo> <mi>p</mi> <mo>,</mo> <mi>q</mi> <mo>)</mo> </mrow> </semantics> </math> </inline-formula>-Euler numbers and polynomials.
