Summary:Starting from a theoretical reflection on the writings of Ragon and Byung-Chun Han on the profound relationship between ritual and architecture and, more generally, on the theme of sacralization, the text selects two iconic works: the Cremation Temple in Parma by Paolo Zermani and the Cemiterio de Fisterra by the Galician architect César Portela as iconic works in which the complexity of the funeral ritual is translated into lasting and stable forms.
