descriptiva mediante técnicas cualitativas proporcionadas por el software de análisis de datos cualitativos Nvivo. Se analizaron un total de 44 artículos obtenidos de las siguientes bases de datos: Scopus, Proquest, Web of Science y Dialnet. Los resultados indican un aumento de estudios sobre esta cuestión y la necesidad de impulsar desde el ámbito educativo una educación centrada en la paz y la igualdad. En conclusión, la importancia de educar para la paz está cobrando cada vez más fuerza ante la necesidad de formar ciudadanos globales.
Education for peace must be a priority theme in today’s multicultural society, as it is one of the Sustainable Development Goals set out in Agenda 2030 (UN, 2015). This research shows a state of the art on the scientific articles published on peace education during five years (2013-2017). The methodology applied has been descriptive through qualitative techniques provided by the qualitative data analysis software Nvivo. A total of 44 articles obtained from the following databases were analyzed: Scopus, Proquest, Web of Science and Dialnet. The results indicate an increase in the number of studies on this issue and the need to promote an education centered on peace and equality from the educational sphere.
