| Summary: | The paper describes the results of study carried out to evaluate and improve children and elder people’s knowledge to face health problems and family relations based on mutual love. Living in a family environment is a closely related to the quality of life in childhood and elder ages. The project was organized by the East Policlinic Medical School Division and carried out at “Alfredo Álvarez Mola” primary school and the Diamante Neighborhood Home and supervised by a full professor of “José Martí” College of Education. Several methods were used to complete a rationale and surveys and interviews were used to gathering information. Activities to promote a better interchange between children and elder people are devised. The proposal helps each age group to enlarge their knowledge on health to face aging, a feature that characterizes Cuban population. |
